Final Deliverables

Javalab needed more than a logo, it needed a brand to believe in. Packaging, store signage, and a cohesive set of identity elements gave the coffee shop a consistent, confident presence from day one. A custom logomark and thoughtful typography made sure the brand's personality landed clearly with its audience, whether on a cup or a storefront window; warm, ownable, and built to grow with them

Expansion Pack

I believe in seeing a brand beyond its basic definition. A branded tote bag and sweater give loyal customers a way to carry the brand into their everyday lives; extending Javalab's reach organically into the community it was built for.

Brand Identity /
Logo Design

JavaLab

I knew I wanted to help build a bold, cohesive brand identity for a new London, Ontario coffee shop targeting students and young adults craving something fresh and experimental. Rather than defaulting to what was already working in the market, I identified a clear gap and designed into it.

Challenges

Flasks, bubbles, and coffee-beans blend together the world of coffee and science; that much I knew. I envisioned a dynamic logo that felt energetic, personable, and was instantly recognizable across every application. After rounds of thumbnails, one obstacle emerged above the rest: typographic harmony. So I honed in on font choices and kerning to reinforce the brand's playfulness and quality-focused message. In the end, this led to a unique, eye-catching brand identity.
