Package Design

Collective Arts Beer Can

My goal for this project was to build a world where leaving your galaxy in delicious disarray felt like a party!  Astronauts, fruit-shaped planets, and beer exploding like a cosmic portal became the visual language of the piece. Every element was pun-intended and purposeful.

Challenges

After the outlines were finally drafted, I found myself unsure on how to proceed in terms of colour and style. In the beginning, I utilized a charcoal brush hoping to achieve a softness to my work but felt it did not suit the bold line work.

Through diligent research and process work, I was able to find a dynamic colour palette that suited the wild, citrus fun of Collective Arts IPA. This venture taught me the importance of using harmonious colours in your piece and how light reflects in the real world.

Final Deliverables

The final package design goes beyond just sitting on a shelf. It tells a story, rewards a second look, and feels exactly like the brand it represents; loud, creative, and unapologetically fun. The real easter egg is that when stacked vertically, both pieces form a single continuous scene; an astronaut caught between chaos and choice.

Expansion Pack

Beautiful design needs to be more than pretty but have the versatility to expand target audiences. I decide to apply this philosophy to my design and mockup some fun product additions to the Collective Arts merch line.
